NASA challenge programs

As a subcontractor to Amentum (formerly Jacobs), I supported the design and operational execution of five NASA open innovation challenges: LunaRecycle, Watts on the Moon, Deep Space Food, Mars to Table, and Break the Ice. As a subcontractor to the Institute of Competition Sciences, I helped design and execute NASA ORBIT, including its accelerator, mentor program, participant communications, evaluation processes, and implementation planning.

National Geographic Society

I helped build three internal innovation labs, develop and implement their strategic plans, and create an open innovation program to support their work.

Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy

I worked with the Board and staff to finalize and implement a strategic plan, strengthen the organization’s culture, and improve its operating practices.

National Rural Electric Cooperative Association

I conducted market assessments and used the findings to develop a strategic plan for entering a new market.

Hackensack Meridian Health

I serve on Hackensack Meridian Health’s innovation team, helping run programs that surface and scale ideas from staff and external partners and supporting a physician innovation curriculum.

Veer

As fractional COO of Veer, a clean shipping company developing zero-emission maritime solutions, I support strategy, operating priorities, organizational capabilities, budgets, vendors, and fundraising.

NIH Nutrition Education Challenge

As a subcontractor to the Institute of Competition Sciences, I helped design and execute the NIH Nutrition Education Challenge, including participant and evaluator processes, communications, platform operations, and implementation planning.

The Royal Foundation’s Earthshot Prize

I helped design the inaugural Earthshot Prize.

XPRIZE

As a Vice President at XPRIZE, I led the design and execution of global prize programs, led teams across multiple continents, managed annual budgets above $15 million, and helped secure more than $105 million in funding.
